Diagnosis of information scrambling from Hamiltonian evolution under decoherence

چکیده

We apply a quantum teleportation protocol based on the Hayden-Preskill thought experiment to quantify how scrambling given evolution is. It has an advantage over direct measurement of out-of-time ordered correlators when used diagnose information in presence decoherence effects stemming from noisy device. demonstrate by applying it two physical systems: Ising spin chain and SU(2) lattice Yang-Mills theory. To this end, we numerically simulate time theories Hamiltonian formalism. The theory is implemented with suitable truncation Hilbert space basis Kogut-Susskind On two-leg ladder geometry lowest nontrivial representations, can be mapped chain, which call Yang-Mills-Ising model also directly applicable future digital simulations. find that shows signal at late times.
